Father’s Day Crafting Fun with my Cricut.

This Father’s Day, I made my Bonus Dad (Step-Dad) a sign for the front of his and Mom’s house. Tbey have always told us that they do not spoil Grandchildren. They (the Grandchildren) are just loved. I decided, very close to Father’s Day, to add the sign to our Father’s Day gift, so i did it in vinyl on my Cricut instead of using paint. It turned out great. I had already bought the pre-painted sign around Christmas, just in case I had a last minute gift I wanted to make. I was really happy with the way it all turned out.

I chose a few different fonts for the wording and an anchor at the end of the sign for some added design elements, because Pop retired from the Navy. It added just the right extra touch.

This is a picture of the wording on the computer screen right before it prints.
The vinyl is printing and cutting the letters.
I weeded off the large piece of vinyl and added my transfer paper as seen above.
I put the transfer paper on the board and peeled it off to leave the letters behind.

I added wording to a coffee cup for my Dad. I added that he is a Dad and Granddaddy and the year he 1st became both. I used the same process for these that I used above.

Our Vinyl printed and cut.
I also added a couple of hearts to the cup.
